Create your HostUp Cloud account in minutes. The signup process is the same for all users — Indian, international, and students. Country-specific requirements (KYC, tax) are handled after account creation.

Sign Up Methods

You can create an account using any of these methods:

Step-by-Step: Email Sign Up

Step 1: Welcome

Visit auth.hostupcloud.com/signup and click Get Started.

Step 2: Enter Your Details

Fill in the registration form:

• First Name — minimum 2 characters
• Last Name — minimum 2 characters
• Email Address — must be a valid email you can access
• Phone Number — your mobile number with country code

A CAPTCHA verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) is required to prevent automated signups.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

After submitting the form:

1. A 6-digit OTP is sent to your email address.
2. Enter the OTP on the verification screen.
3. The code auto-submits when you type all 6 digits.

Step 4: Choose Account Type

Select your account type:

• Individual (Self) — for personal use
• Organization — for businesses and teams

If you choose Organization, you'll also provide:

• Organization Name
• Organization Slug — auto-generated from the name, used in URLs (must be unique)

Step 5: Security Questions (Optional)

Set up 1–3 security questions for account recovery. You can choose from a bank of 12 predefined questions. This step can be skipped and completed later from your settings.

Step 6: Account Created

You'll see a confirmation page with your account details and next steps:

• Complete your profile — add billing address and preferences
• Complete KYC — verify your identity for full access (see KYC Verification)
• Go to Dashboard — start exploring HUC services

Social Sign Up (Google, GitHub, GitLab)

For social signups, the process is simpler:

1. Click the provider button (Google, GitHub, or GitLab) on the signup page.
2. Authorize HostUp Cloud to access your account.
3. Complete a short onboarding form:
   • Step 1: First name, last name, and phone number
   • Step 2: Account type (Individual or Organization)
4. You're redirected to the dashboard.

For Indian Users

The signup form is the same for all users. After account creation, Indian users can:

• Complete instant KYC using Aadhaar via DigiLocker (see KYC Verification)
• Add GST details if ordering on behalf of a business
• Pay using UPI, net banking, credit/debit cards, or Paytm

Indian phone numbers (+91) are auto-detected and validated using standard Indian mobile number formats.

For International Users

International users follow the same signup flow. After account creation:

• Complete KYC using passport or government ID via Stripe Identity (see KYC Verification)
• Billing is available in USD (INR also supported)
• Pay using credit/debit cards, PayPal, or Stripe

Your country is auto-detected from your IP for phone code selection, and you can choose from 190+ countries.

For Students

Students sign up using the same process as any other user. After account creation:

• Complete student KYC verification through your college/university email
• Supported institutions include IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, VIT, SRM, Delhi University, Mumbai University, and more
• Student verification requires a valid institutional email address and college ID card

What Happens After Sign Up?

1. Email verification must be completed before accessing the dashboard.
2. You'll be prompted to complete KYC — this can be done immediately or within 30 days.
3. Some features may be restricted until KYC is verified (as per CERT-In regulations).
4. You can choose "Pay & Use Immediately" to skip KYC temporarily and start using services right away.
