Find out your server's resource usage in cPanel

Last updated on Aug 01, 2024

CloudLinux is a specialized operating system designed for shared hosting environments. It helps to evenly distribute server resources among users and ensures that no single user consumes more than their fair share. Resource limits are set based on the hosting package you have purchased and the recommended level of resources for your account. If these limits are exceeded, it can lead to slower performance and longer completion times for processes.

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.

  2. In the "Metrics" section, click on the "Resource Usage" icon.

  2. To view your resource usage history, click on the "History" dropdown menu and select the time period you wish to view.

  3. The graph will be updated to show your resource usage for the selected time period.

  4. You can also see a breakdown of your resource usage by clicking on the "Show" dropdown menu and selecting the resource you wish to view (e.g. CPU usage, memory usage, etc.).
